"Uomini" is the Italian word for `men' and that is what we find in the extraordinary book published by Rizzoli Editore in March 2011. The famous fashion photographer Mariano Vivanco has captured, in collaboration with Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, in luxurious and sophisticated photographs the beauty of the male form, placing models as David Gandy, Tony Ward, Doug Porter, in athletic positions in public places of Rome. Mariano Vivanco is born in Lima, Peru, works for internationally renowned magazines and brands. "Uomini" has 252 pages, 13.6 x 10.2 format, hardcover; it costs $65, less at Amazon.
